Team Gravel Silos
This awarded project includes a collaboration with senior block students to develop a site installation for the visitor of Buffalo Bayou, a slow-moving river that flows through Houston, Texas. Our team worked on a variety of concepts to help introduce the site and create engagement opportunities. The entire project was awarded Honor Award 2019 by SEGD.
Our final proposal is a series of four cylinder shapes in four locations around the silos, each with different related narratives about the site. The project also involved investigating diverse feasible materials for production and estimating prospective expenses in various types of manufacturing.
